Firm Analysis.

The full assessment the narrow audits roll up into.

The Firm Analysis is the widest of the three diagnostics: a review of the systems, workflows, staffing and compensation structures that decide whether a firm scales or simply gets busier. It takes in everything the Intake Audit and Marketing Analysis surface, and reads it against how the firm is actually built.

It is data-driven by design, and it ends in a conversation rather than a document.

Systems, And The Single Source Of Truth

We review the case-management software and wider technology stack alongside intake documentation and case-lifecycle workflows. The objective is a single source of truth that supports the firm’s business model — and, along the way, the operational bottlenecks that only become visible when the systems are examined together rather than one vendor at a time.

Case Types Are Not One Pipeline

A portfolio spanning mass torts alongside single-event auto and workers’ compensation matters carries fundamentally different intake, development and resolution pathways. We evaluate workflows and staffing for each case type separately rather than as one undifferentiated pipeline, because treating them as one is how firms end up staffing the average of two very different businesses.

What We Ask For, And How It Is Held

The engagement requests the inputs that make the diagnostic real: org chart and roster, marketing spend by channel with the attributed intake and case data, payroll by role, and attorney compensation structures. All of it is held in strict confidence under the engagement agreement. We ask for it because a firm assessment built on impressions is worth what it costs to produce.

The Principals’ Debrief

The process culminates in an in-depth conversation with the principals, walking through observations and recommendations across marketing, intake, systems and compensation. That debrief is the delivery of the work product — not a summary of a report you will read later, but the session where the findings are argued through with the people who can act on them.

Three Diagnostics, One Path

Each One Hands Off To The Next

They follow a lead from first contact through resolution. Run alone, each answers a narrow question well. Run in sequence, the narrow audits roll up into a full assessment of the firm — and each one is more reliable for the discipline the one before it established.
