In re Black Farmers Discrimination Litigation wasn't just a lawsuit; it was one of the largest civil rights class actions in U.S. history. The challenge was immense: securing legislation for over $1 billion in compensation and identifying nearly 100,000 potential class members. Maestro’s managing partner didn't just consult on the process; he was the architect of its execution. He was instrumental in the lobby effort leading to passage of the Claims Resolution Act of 2010 signed by President Obama. We then designed and deployed a massive outreach engine, to process the claims, executing 384 meetings across 66 cities in just 180 days.
